PLCE: Chest Rig
The SERSL PLCE chest rig/chest webbing features five main front pouches, three AR-15 rifle magazines (each for 2 magazines) and two larger pouches for sundry items such as rations, grenades, navigation items etc. Pouches close via quick release fastex buckles, but in the event of these becoming damaged, there is velcro as a back-up option.
Central and running along the width of the rig and accessed via a press-stud closure flap at the top, is a large map / document pouch for carrying flat items or paperwork etc.
It is a "one size fits all" item with wide shoulder straps can be adjusted to fit different sized individuals. Straps should be secured in an X across the back.
Additional pouches can be pasted to the shoulder straps to cap a First Field Dressing (FFD), knife or radio.
The rear waist-belt also features a short section of PLCE belt material, enabling the wearer to fit an additional pouch such as respirator haversack, bayonet frog or another utility pouch.
It is manufactured to military specification in 1000d nylon and is available in a variety of patterns. DPM is illustration only. It is the preferred webbing of the British army & armed forces around the world such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kenya etc.
