project management GioSec's  approach ensures a controlled, well-managed, visible set of activities to achieve the desired results.  It is agile, responsive, and cost-effective with a clear definition of roles, responsibilities and accountability.  It provides total clarity about why the project (and its constituent components) are needed, what they are intended to achieve, and how the outcomes are to be realised.  The key features of our project management are:
  • A focus on the business justification, with an outputs-based planning approach,
  • A defined organisational structure; and
  • Agility with controlled stages and activities.

QUALITY CONTROL .

RISK MANAGEMENT .

GioSec combines the key elements of quality management with a framework of effective project management.  In particular, the quality management processes focus on:
  • Ensuring that key stakeholders commit to the core deliverables.
  • Pro-active resource scheduling.
  • Defining measurable quality criteria.
  • Assuring quality of products against expected standards.
  • Securing sign-off of project activity schedules and documents.
  • Being a catalyst for decision processes.
  • An underlying drive to provide professional, objective and impartial advice.
  • An emphasis on team building with the beneficiaries.
GioSec's approach to risk management is based on:
  • Formally identifying internal and external risks, together with clearly laying responsibility for counter-measures to specific named individuals.
  • Creating an open and trusted environment in which all sponsors, stakeholders and users can identify what they see as risks to the project, and can express solutions to mitigate or eradicate the impact of those risks.
GioSec operates a no-exception policy of managing risks on all projects and it has a defined risk management programme that is routinely applied.  It regards the early identification and analysis of project risk and the continuous re-evaluation of risk throughout the project as a fundamental management activity.  Its highly developed in-house project risk management approach has been fine-tuned over many years of project delivery.
